Hanon #1 in G, 8th notes, 40bpm, played up & down with no mistakes (after many false starts in each direction)
Goal: play up and down with no mistakes, at speed
“Frolic,” Mel Bay Method, Grade 2, p. 4. Played each section through with no mistakes after many false starts.
Goal: play all the way through with no mistakes, at speed. Focus on tone.
“Blackbird,” played slowly and working on transitions. Lots of errors. I felt a little more confident in front of the camera.
Goal: upload a video of the song that is worth sharing with friends — without making excuses.
I’ll upload tonight’s video as soon as possible.
